We are Paul McKenzie-Jones, whose research focuses on transborder Indigenous activism in the 20th and 21st centuries;   

Sheila McManus, who has published extensively on the Canada-U.S. and U.S.-Mexico borderlands in the 19th and 20th centuries; and

Julie Young, Canada Research Chair in Critical Border Studies, whose research focuses on how refugees, migrants, and advocates in communities around the Canada-US and Mexico-Guatemala borders interact with and challenge those borders.
